Fitted Wardrobes

The internal layouts of wardrobes are almost limitless, ranging from simple hanging rails to incorporating an array of shelves, drawers, shoe racks, pull-out jewellery shelves and concealed glamour units.

Hinged or sliding wardrobe doors can be either modern, contemporary, minimalist, traditional, Edwardian, Victorian, Regency or Georgian in style.

Modern, contemporary and minimalist hinged wardrobes doors tend to be flush with a shadow gap and concealed hinges so creating clean straight lines. Sliding doors can be either flush or elegantly framed.

Traditional Edwardian, Victorian, Regency or Georgian hinged wardrobes doors have either shaker style, or panelled doors using a profile moulding to match the existing moulding of the room. Either butt hinges or concealed soft-close hinges are used. Sliding wardrobe doors tend to be shaker style.

Typically we prefer to fabricate the doors and carcasses in our workshop and then assemble them on site.

Our hinged doors are made using deep route MDF and the internal carcasses are normally made with moisture resistant MDF. These are then painted by us or the client, but we can use any timber material or wood, including soft or hard wood, melamine faced chipboard or MDF, veneered or stained MDF or veneered plywood. See Finishes.

Discreet under-shelf concealed lighting on either a movement sensor or a switch, and power sockets, can be incorporated.

We have many years of experience of designing and building wardrobes with exceptional style and quality, transforming bedrooms into organised, tidy and tranquil spaces.
